We attach great importance to the innovative and individual development of young talent and offer you excellent, in-depth training. Our aim is to give you the best possible start to your future career as a business administrator or bicycle mechanic. You will work with colleagues from different areas, participate in projects, assume responsibility and, of course, also occasionally ride a FLYER.
Our apprenticeships
Bicycle mechanic – Swiss Federal VET Diploma
Maintenance, repairs, checks, assembly, programming and test rides – as a bicycle mechanic, the world of bicycles is your home. You are familiar with e-bikes and are able to carry out repairs and maintenance on your own.
A bicycle mechanic apprenticeship gives you a wide range of excellent prospects for the future. Of course, with us you also have the opportunity of riding a FLYER

With us, you will learn how to assemble our FLYER e-bikes professionally, maintain and repair them, and advise our internal and external customers on buying a FLYER. You will also sell accessories such as helmets, gloves, bicycle bags and clothes.

Duration of training
3 years
Practical training
During the first two years of your apprenticeship, you will acquire a broad foundation of knowledge and skills. In the final year of your apprenticeship, you will deepen your knowledge and skills and take on holistic tasks.
Industry courses
These courses take place throughout the apprenticeship on a variety of topics and are attended externally.
Educational training at the vocational college
1 day per week
Vocational baccalaureate
It is possible to attend the vocational secondary school (BMS) in parallel with your apprenticeship.
Career prospects
Once you have completed your apprenticeship with a federal certificate of proficiency, you have various options, such as continuing education at a PET college (dipl. Technician HF in Mechanical Engineering), a degree at a university of applied sciences, the advanced technical examination (federal diploma in the two-wheeler sector) or a wide range of continuing education courses offered by industry associations.
Business administrator EFZ (Swiss Federal VET Diploma)
Processing information, advising customers, organizing events, dealing with concerns... as a business administrator with us, you will learn this and much more.
During your apprenticeship, you will work in different departments and get to know the company from different perspectives.

Your most important tasks include information processing, email and telephone communication, customer service and much more. As part of this, you will change departments every six months to get to know the different facets of FLYER AG.

- E-profile: 2 days per week in the first and second year of apprenticeship and 1 day per week in the third year of apprenticeship
- M profile: 2 days per week during the entire apprenticeship

Four steps to your apprenticeship
1. Application
We require the following documents from you:
- Cover letter (why are you interested in this profession and why do you want to complete your apprenticeship at FLYER?)

- All middle school certificates
- Taster day reports (if available)

2. Job interview
If we are impressed by your application, we will invite you to an interview. This helps us to get to know each other better.
3. Taster day
To give you an insight into everyday working life, we invite you to a taster day. We will send you the program in advance so that you can prepare.
4. Apprenticeship contract
Congratulations, you did it! We will send you your apprenticeship contract and the associated documents by post. We will also meet your parents and show you round the FLYER premises and the factory.
