7 tips for an e-bike tour for two.
An e-bike tour is fantastic, but it is twice as much fun if there are two of you. Read our tips on an easygoing and relaxing outing à deux.

It doesn’t always have to be a world tour, but an enjoyable Sunday outing can become an experience in its own right.
1. Select the right e-bike
Do you prefer relaxing tours or challenging trails? Irrespective of what you have planned, you will always find the right companion in our range: from e-mountainbikes, to endurance touring e-bikes, and to elegant city e-bikes.
2. Look after your e-bike
Look after your e-bike and have it checked regularly by your FLYER dealer. Don't forget to check your tyre pressure before you set off. There is nothing more annoying than having to stop en route for trivial matters such as too little air in your tyres.
3. Use the right oils
It sounds trivial, but sun cream is a must on any tour. At the same time, however, your chain also needs regular oiling. The only time you can do without chain oil is if your e-bike has a belt drive.
4. Plan your route well
Although the journey may be your destination, your relaxing tour will come to an abrupt halt if you end up in the middle of the woods with no idea where you are. In this kind of situation, a bike GPS or the komoot navigation app can really help as they guide you safely through woods and fields without getting you lost.
5. Well-equipped on the road
Although a few clouds on the horizon won't worry you too much at first and you tend to rely on your weather app, it is always a good idea to take a raincoat with you. After all, you never know just when the weather is going to change.
6. Lock and key
A mountain hut or a beer garden are tempting places to stop for a well-earned break. However, as nowhere is safe from thieves, you should always have a lock with you as you don't want to risk having to walk home. If your e-bike has a frame lock, remember to take the key with you.
7. Energy in your luggage
You should always ensure that your e-bike battery is fully charged – and that your own batteries are, too. If you have planned an extensive tour, or even a tour that lasts for several days, it is worth taking a charging lead and possibly a second e-bike battery with you. We also recommend that you pack small snacks for en route for yourself. And don't forget to take plenty of water with you.
