Company profile
The e-bike specialist
FLYER e-bikes are developed, produced and sold by the company FLYER AG. The traditional Swiss brand FLYER has grown strongly in recent years. FLYER AG (Biketec AG until the end of 2018) was established in 2001 and took over FLYER activities from its predecessor BKTech AG. The company's growth necessitated a move from Kirchberg to a new site in Huttwil in 2009.
Maximum production capacity is up to 480 FLYER e-bikes per day. With more than 200 employees, FLYER AG is the region's largest employer. The company has the following subsidiaries: FLYER Service GmbH in Filderstadt (Germany), FLYER Bikes Austria GmbH in Bad Goisern (Austria) and FLYER Benelux B.V. in Beverwijk (Netherlands).
Swiss e-bike pioneer since 1995
In a pioneering role since the early 1990s, FLYER AG has amassed a wealth of solid experience with the FLYER e-bike and has had a considerable impact on and contributed to the consolidation of developments in the e-bike sector. This know-how is integrated into all the company's daily activities. FLYER AG is market leader for e-bikes in Switzerland.
The principal markets consist of Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. FLYER AG works with about 300 FLYER dealers in Switzerland, 450 in Germany, 200 in the Netherlands and 90 in Austria. This dense network allows FLYER AG to maintain close relationships with end customers and to respond to their needs.
