of Entry of the anniversary competition of FLYER AG, Schwende 1, CH-4950 Huttwil

Eligible participants

All persons who are of legal age and who are resident in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg may enter the competition. The entry form at www.flyer-bikes.com/en/competition must be completed and submitted to take part. Employees of FLYER AG and its subsidiaries are not eligible to participate. FLYER AG reserves the right to delete ineligible entries.

Duration of the competition

The competition will last for a total of five weeks from 15 June 2020 up to and including 19 July 2020.

Prizes and delivery of prizes

Participants will be entered into a prize draw each week for the relevant weekly prize. The weekly prizes are non-cash prizes and/or vouchers that will be sent to the winner by post.

At the end of the competition (19 July 2020), all participants will be entered into a prize draw for the main prize, which is an Upstreet5 9.83 Anniversary Edition, number 25; the frame size and frame shape may be selected from the specifications of the Upstreet5 9.83 Anniversary Edition. The main prize will be delivered to the winner free of charge by a FLYER dealer.

Prizes (weekly prizes and main prize) are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash.

Prize draw

The prizes (weekly prizes and main prize) will be drawn at random behind closed doors. The winners of the competition will not be named publicly and will be notified by e-mail. If a winner does not respond within two weeks of the e-mail being sent, we reserve the right to select another winner and to award the prize to this person.

Transfer of rights

FLYER AG will create photographs, videos, and films (referred to collectively as “recordings”) during the presentation of the main prize. By participating in the competition, participants agree to these recordings being actively used for one year in reports on the competition in FLYER marketing documents (website, flyers, brochures, newsletters, posters, etc.), on the FLYER intranet, and on FLYER social media channels and video platforms. The recordings will not be passed on to third parties for personal use.

Comments

The Conditions of Entry may be amended at any time. No correspondence will be entered into about the competition. The organisers’ decision is final.

Scope and purpose of data processing

The personal data provided for this competition will be used exclusively to run this competition. These data serve to check the eligibility of participants, to notify winners, and to hand over the prize.

We will specifically collect the following personal data:

  • First name and last name
  • E-mail address
  • Home address (street, postcode, town, country)

The legal basis for the processing of data is Article 6(1)(1)(b) of the GDPR (quasi-contractual relationship).

FLYER will create photographs, videos, and films during the presentation of the weekly prizes and the main prize with the aim of publishing these recordings for marketing purposes and image maintenance.

The legal basis for this is your consent (Article 6(1)(1)(a) of the GDPR) and the legitimate interests of FLYER in marketing for advertising purposes (Article 6(1)(1)(f) of the GDPR).

Recipients of personal data

If you win, the data we have collected about you will be passed on to the dealer responsible for delivering your prize for the sole purpose of handing over the prize.

Otherwise data will only be passed on to service providers (processors) used by us to process data (for the purpose of web hosting and sending e-mails) who will process your data only on our instructions and within the duration and scope of these purposes, and with whom we have concluded processing contracts in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.

There will be no further transfer of data.

Deletion periods

Once the competition has ended, your data, with the exception of the data contained in the recordings, will be held for thirty days and then deleted. We will no longer actively use the recordings made of you after one year, but it will still be possible to retrieve them on the internet and via our archive.

Your rights as a data subject

Insofar as FLYER processes your personal data, you have the right to information, the right to rectification, the right to deletion, the right to restrict processing, the right to consultation, the right to data transferability, the right to object, the right to withdraw consent in accordance with data protection legislation, the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if the conditions specified by the GDPR have been met.

Please note that you may only withdraw your consent for the use of your recordings in exceptional circumstances.
