Procedure in cases of warranty

The specialist dealer from which you buy your e-bike is your contractual partner and thus your contact for warranty cases. Therefore, in the event of a problem, first take your e-bike to the specialist dealer you bought the e-bike from.

5-YEAR WARRANTY***


***For FLYER e-bikes with a Panasonic GX motor from the 2021 model year onwards, as well as for components of the FIT e-bike system (displays 1.0/2.0, remotes 1.0/2.0 and chargers 1.0/2.0). Applies to the Upstreet, Upstreet3/5, Gotour 3/4/5, Goroc2, G1, Goroc X, Uproc2/4/7, G1 and Uproc X. The 2-year statutory guarantee and an additional 3-year voluntary guarantee apply to e-bikes sold by an official FLYER dealer from 1 March 2025 onwards. Retroactive refunds for cases occurring prior to 1 March 2025 are excluded.

FAQ

Where can I make warranty claims?
Your contact is the FLYER specialist dealer from which you bought the e-bike.
 

Can I also lodge a warranty claim directly with FLYER?
No, it is not possible to assert a warranty claim directly via FLYER. Your FLYER specialist dealer can inspect the affected vehicle directly on site and make expert statements on the relevant facts. Your FLYER specialist dealer may also be able to offer a suitable solution directly and independently or they can contact us and send us all the necessary documents.
 

Can warranty claims be rejected?
Yes, warranty claims can be rejected in accordance with section 4 of our general terms of warranty. 
 

What happens if the FLYER specialist dealer who sold me the vehicle closes their business?
Unfortunately, the guarantee expires if the FLYER specialist dealer closes their business. You can have your claims processed via another FLYER specialist dealer, but they are not obliged to provide a guarantee and may charge you repair costs.
 

What do I need to consider when buying a second hand e-bike from a private individual?
Private individuals have no legal guarantee obligations whatsoever. You are not entitled to any guarantee or warranty vis-à-vis the private person who sells you a vehicle. In this case, check the second hand e-bike very carefully before you buy it.
